Torkingtons have extensive experience reconditioning to original manufacturer's specifications in-line, right angle, planetary, fixed and variable speed industrial gearboxes.
Highly-experienced, time-served engineers undertake gearbox stripdowns and quotations are provided free-of-charge.
Each gearbox overhaul is assigned a project engineer who manages all stages of the reconditioning process and provides you with on-going progress as required.
Unlike many industrial gearbox reconditioners, we are precision engineers with our own comprehensively-equipped, precision machine shop.

Motors are inspected, repaired and tested with full certification.

Replacement gearboxes
In certain instances gearbox repairs or reconditioning can be uneconomical, and a new replacement unit is advisable. We are able to source replacement gearboxes at competitive prices from all of today's leading manufacturers.
For obsolete gearboxes we are able to quickly source alternative replacement units. Modifications to replacement gearbox footings and centre heights can be undertaken urgently in our machine shop.
